Post Procedure Therapy
Post-procedure therapy, also known as post-operative therapy, is a specialized form of physical therapy that focuses on helping patients recover from surgery and other medical procedures. including:
- Restoring range of motion and flexibility: Surgery can often lead to stiffness and limited movement in the affected area. Post-procedure therapy helps to gradually increase range of motion and flexibility, improving the patient’s ability to perform daily activities.
- Strengthening muscles: Surgery can weaken muscles in the affected area, making it difficult to perform everyday tasks. Post-procedure therapy focuses on strengthening the muscles around the surgical site, improving overall strength and function.
